Payment Methods

Introduction

This Payment Methods page explains how customers can pay for eligible orders placed through Australian Goods Bangladesh, how payment confirmation works and what to do if a transaction fails or appears incorrect.

Australian Goods Bangladesh is an ecommerce brand owned and operated by Brands Outlet Bangladesh Ltd.

Available payment methods may vary according to the order, product, customer location, payment provider, fraud checks and operational availability. The options shown during checkout are the methods currently available for that transaction.

1) Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on availability, customers may be able to pay through:

  • bKash
  • Nagad
  • Eligible debit or credit cards
  • Bank or electronic payment methods
  • Cash on Delivery where available
  • Another payment method displayed at checkout

A payment method appearing on an earlier page, promotion or communication may not be available for every order. Checkout availability takes priority.

2) Currency, Prices & Charges

Prices are normally displayed in Bangladeshi Taka.

Before submitting an order, customers should review:

  • Product price
  • Applied discount
  • Delivery charge
  • Applicable tax or VAT treatment
  • Promotional conditions
  • Final payable amount

Any charge imposed independently by a bank, wallet, payment provider or card issuer may be subject to that provider’s own terms.

3) Mobile Financial Service Payments

Where supported, customers may select an available mobile financial service during checkout.

The payment process may require:

  • Redirecting to the payment provider
  • Entering a registered mobile number
  • Confirming through an application or secure interface
  • Entering an OTP or other authorisation
  • Returning to the website after payment

Customers should never disclose a wallet PIN, password or OTP to Australian Goods Bangladesh staff by phone, WhatsApp, email or chat.

We do not require customers to share their bKash or Nagad PIN with us.

4) Debit & Credit Card Payments

Eligible card payments may be processed through an independent payment gateway.

Supported card networks and authentication methods depend on the payment provider and issuing bank.

Card authorisation may require:

  • Cardholder details
  • Expiry information
  • Card security verification
  • OTP or 3-D Secure authentication
  • Issuing-bank approval

We do not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes in our own ecommerce database.

Card information is handled by the relevant payment provider under its own security and privacy procedures.

5) Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may be available for selected orders and locations.

Eligibility may depend on:

  • Delivery area
  • Order value
  • Product category
  • Customer order history
  • Courier capability
  • Fraud or verification checks

Customers should keep the registered phone number reachable and prepare the payable amount according to the delivery method.

Repeated refusal, false ordering or failed delivery may result in restriction of future Cash on Delivery orders or a requirement for advance payment.

6) Payment Authorisation

Submitting payment details does not guarantee that a transaction will be approved.

A payment may be declined or delayed because of:

  • Insufficient balance or limit
  • Incorrect payment details
  • Failed OTP or authentication
  • Issuing-bank restrictions
  • Payment-provider downtime
  • Fraud or security checks
  • Network interruption
  • Transaction limits

Customers should contact the relevant bank, wallet or payment provider where a decline originates from that provider.

7) Payment & Order Confirmation

After payment, customers may receive confirmation through one or more available channels, including:

  • Website confirmation page
  • Customer account
  • SMS
  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • Payment-provider notification

A successful payment notification from a payment provider does not always mean that an order has been fully accepted. Order acceptance remains subject to product, price, payment and fulfilment verification.

Customers should keep the transaction reference until the order has been confirmed and completed.

8) Invoice & Transaction Records

An invoice, receipt or order summary may be provided electronically, physically or through the customer account.

Customers should review:

  • Customer name and contact information
  • Product details
  • Quantity
  • Price and discount
  • Delivery charge
  • Payment status
  • Total amount

Any material inconsistency should be reported promptly.

9) Order & Payment Verification

We may carry out reasonable verification before accepting, processing or dispatching an order.

Verification may include:

  • Confirming customer contact details
  • Confirming the delivery address
  • Reviewing payment status
  • Checking transaction references
  • Reviewing unusually large or repeated orders
  • Identifying possible fraud or account misuse

We may delay, restrict or cancel an order where payment cannot be verified or reasonable security concerns remain.

10) Pending or Incomplete Payments

A payment may remain pending where:

  • The provider has not completed settlement
  • The checkout session was interrupted
  • The payment succeeded but confirmation was delayed
  • The transaction requires manual reconciliation
  • A bank or wallet is reviewing the transaction

Customers should not repeatedly submit payment unless the earlier attempt has been confirmed as unsuccessful.

Contact Customer Care with the transaction reference and payment time where the status remains unclear.

11) Charged but No Order Confirmation

If an account appears charged but no order confirmation is received:

  1. Check the website account and email inbox
  2. Check the payment-provider transaction history
  3. Avoid submitting another payment immediately
  4. Contact Customer Care with the transaction reference

Please provide:

  • Customer name and phone number
  • Payment amount
  • Payment method
  • Transaction ID
  • Approximate payment date and time
  • Screenshot where reasonably available

We may need to reconcile the transaction with the payment provider before confirming the order or initiating a reversal.

12) Duplicate or Excess Payment

Customers who believe they were charged more than once should contact Customer Care promptly.

Provide all relevant transaction references and payment evidence.

Where a duplicate or excess payment is confirmed, we may:

  • Apply the correct amount to the order
  • Reverse the duplicate transaction
  • Initiate an appropriate refund
  • Request action from the payment provider

Final timing may depend on the bank, gateway or mobile financial service.

13) Changing a Payment Method

A payment method may not be changeable after an order has been confirmed or a transaction has been completed.

Depending on the order status, we may:

  • Update the payment method before fulfilment
  • Cancel the original order
  • Ask the customer to place a new order
  • Decline the change where processing has advanced

Review our Order Cancellation Policy for cancellation conditions.

14) Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined under the applicable order, cancellation, authenticity or return policy.

Approved refunds may be issued through:

  • The original payment method where supported
  • Mobile financial service
  • Bank transfer
  • Another verified and agreed method
  • Store credit where voluntarily accepted

Cash on Delivery refunds normally require a verified mobile financial service or bank account because cash cannot usually be returned through the courier.

Full eligibility and process details are available in our Returns & Refund Policy .

15) Refund Processing Time

Refund processing begins after:

  • The refund has been approved
  • The refundable amount has been confirmed
  • Payment details have been verified
  • Any required product or transaction review is complete

We aim to initiate approved refunds within approximately 7–10 business days.

The time required for funds to appear may be longer because of payment-provider, bank, card-network or mobile financial service processing.

16) Payment Security

Payment security may involve controls operated by both Australian Goods Bangladesh and independent payment providers.

Customers should:

  • Use the official checkout page
  • Confirm the website address before payment
  • Never share a PIN, password, CVV or OTP with staff
  • Avoid sending full card details through messages
  • Keep transaction references
  • Report suspicious payment requests

We will not ask customers to disclose a wallet PIN or full card security credentials through Customer Care.

Review our Security Policy and Privacy Policy .

17) Manual Payment Requests

Customers should use the payment instructions displayed in the official checkout or provided through a verified Australian Goods Bangladesh communication channel.

Before making a manual transfer, confirm:

  • The order number
  • The payable amount
  • The authorised recipient account
  • The purpose of the payment
  • The official contact channel

Australian Goods Bangladesh is not responsible for money voluntarily sent to an unverified personal account, impersonator or unauthorised third party.

18) Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Customers should contact Customer Care before initiating a payment dispute where possible.

A payment dispute may require review of:

  • Order records
  • Payment confirmation
  • Delivery status
  • Customer communications
  • Refund or cancellation records

Fraudulent or knowingly false disputes may result in account restriction or further investigation.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from using a lawful payment-provider or consumer complaint process.

19) Changes to Payment Methods

We may add, remove, restrict or modify payment methods because of:

  • Provider availability
  • Technical maintenance
  • Security concerns
  • Commercial arrangements
  • Fraud-prevention requirements
  • Legal or regulatory changes

The payment methods shown at checkout are the methods available for the relevant transaction at that time.

20) Contact Us

Contact Customer Care for payment, transaction or refund assistance.

Current addresses and service details are available on our Contact Us page.
