Shipping & Delivery
Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Australian Goods Bangladesh processes, dispatches and coordinates delivery of eligible customer orders within Bangladesh.
Australian Goods Bangladesh is an ecommerce brand owned and operated by Brands Outlet Bangladesh Ltd.
Delivery availability, charges and estimated timelines may vary according to the destination, courier coverage, product availability, payment status and operational conditions.
1) Delivery Coverage
We coordinate delivery to eligible locations within Bangladesh through available courier and logistics providers.
Coverage may include:
- Dhaka metropolitan areas
- Major cities
- District towns
- Selected upazila and regional locations
- Remote or limited-access areas where courier service is available
Delivery may not be available to every address. Certain islands, remote areas, restricted zones or locations outside normal courier coverage may require additional time, an alternative collection point or order cancellation.
Final delivery availability is determined during checkout or order verification.
2) Order Processing
Before dispatch, we may:
- Confirm product availability
- Verify the customer’s name, phone number and address
- Confirm payment status
- Review Cash on Delivery eligibility
- Check order quantity or fraud indicators
- Prepare the invoice and delivery documentation
- Check product and packaging condition
Processing time varies according to product availability, payment verification, order volume and courier pickup schedules.
Orders placed during public holidays, promotional periods or operational disruptions may require additional processing time.
3) Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times may generally fall within the following ranges:
- Dhaka metropolitan areas: approximately 1–3 business days after dispatch
- Major cities and district towns: approximately 2–3 business days after dispatch
- Remote or limited-access areas: approximately 2–4 business days or longer
These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
Actual delivery time may be affected by:
- Courier availability
- Customer location
- Weather or natural events
- Public holidays
- Transport disruption
- Security or access restrictions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
- Events outside our reasonable control
4) Delivery Charges
Delivery charges may depend on:
- Destination
- Parcel weight and dimensions
- Courier service
- Delivery method
- Promotional eligibility
- Remote-area or special-handling requirements
The applicable delivery charge should be displayed before the customer submits or confirms the order.
Free-delivery promotions may be subject to minimum order values, location restrictions, product exclusions, campaign dates and other stated conditions.
5) Payment & Delivery Eligibility
Available payment and delivery methods may vary by order, product, destination and operational availability.
Payment options may include:
- Mobile financial services
- Debit or credit cards
- Bank or electronic payment methods
- Cash on Delivery where available
Cash on Delivery may be restricted for certain products, locations, order values, customer histories or repeated delivery failures.
Current payment information is available on our Payment Methods page.
6) Dispatch Confirmation
When an order is dispatched, we may provide available courier or tracking information through one or more of the following:
- SMS
- Customer account
- Courier tracking link
Tracking availability depends on the courier and delivery service used.
Some local, manual or special delivery arrangements may not provide real-time tracking.
7) Order Tracking
Where tracking information is available, customers may check delivery progress through:
- The courier’s tracking service
- Our Order Tracking page
- Customer Care
Courier tracking updates may be delayed or may not reflect every movement of the parcel in real time.
Multi-item orders may be divided into separate parcels and delivered at different times.
8) Customer Delivery Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing:
- Correct recipient name
- Reachable phone number
- Complete delivery address
- Relevant area, landmark or postal details
- Access instructions where necessary
Customers should keep the registered phone available during the expected delivery period and cooperate with reasonable courier verification.
We are not responsible for delays caused by materially incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery information supplied by the customer.
9) Address or Contact Changes
Customers should request an address or phone-number change as soon as possible.
Changes may be possible before dispatch. Once the order has been packed, handed to a courier or dispatched, amendments may not be possible.
A change to the delivery zone may result in:
- Additional delivery charges
- Delivery delay
- Courier reassignment
- Cancellation where the new location is unsupported
10) Delivery Attempts & Failed Delivery
The number and timing of delivery attempts depend on the courier and service area.
A delivery may fail where:
- The customer cannot be reached
- The address is incomplete or incorrect
- The customer refuses the parcel
- Cash on Delivery payment is unavailable
- The location is inaccessible
- The courier cannot complete delivery for operational reasons
A failed parcel may be returned to us.
Re-dispatch may require:
- Address reconfirmation
- Advance payment
- Payment of a new delivery charge
- Resolution of an earlier delivery or payment issue
11) Refused or Uncollected Orders
Where a customer refuses or repeatedly fails to receive an order without a valid product or delivery issue, we may:
- Record the failed delivery
- Restrict future Cash on Delivery orders
- Request advance payment
- Recover additional re-delivery charges where appropriate
- Cancel the affected order
These measures do not limit a customer’s right to reject a genuinely incorrect, damaged or materially defective parcel.
12) Packaging & Handling
We aim to package products in a manner appropriate to the product, parcel size and available delivery method.
Packaging practices may include:
- Outer courier packaging
- Protective wrapping or cushioning
- Separation of fragile or leak-sensitive items
- Invoice or order identification
- Product-condition review before dispatch
Products are handled before dispatch according to available label, manufacturer and category guidance.
We do not guarantee temperature-controlled transport unless that service is expressly confirmed for the specific order.
13) Receiving & Inspecting Your Parcel
Customers should inspect the parcel promptly after delivery.
Check:
- Recipient and order details
- Number of products received
- Product name and pack size
- Visible packaging condition
- Leakage or material damage
- Seal condition where applicable
- Batch and expiry information where available
Keep the parcel packaging, invoice and delivery materials until you are satisfied that the order is complete and correct.

If a shipment exceeds the estimated delivery range, customers should contact Customer Care with:
- Order number
- Tracking number where available
- Recipient name and phone number
- Delivery address
We may contact the courier, request an investigation or arrange another appropriate next step.

A parcel is not automatically considered lost solely because it is delayed.
Where a courier confirms or reasonably establishes that a parcel has been lost, we may:
- Replace the eligible order
